Improved Patient Mobility

Kimakuya restores movement for low-income patients, reducing chronic pain and enhancing daily life through expert physiotherapy.

About service:

The pilot will train 5–10 medical graduates under Celly’s European expertise to deliver physiotherapy, targeting conditions like post-injury stiffness and arthritis prevalent among Angola’s low-income population. With 100–200 patients treated monthly, the program aims to improve mobility by 30–40% within six months, as supported by global physiotherapy studies, enabling patients to return to work or family care. This hands-on care, supported by €18,000 in high-quality equipment from Budapest, addresses a critical gap in Angola’s underfunded healthcare system (4% GDP), where rehabilitation services are virtually nonexistent.
